Volunteer Opportunities

 EcoOffice, Bellvue College Beyond Conservation

The “BC Squared” project is an opportunity for students, faculty and staff to take an active role in identifying opportunities to improve the Sustainability of the Campus Community as a student auditor or employee host of an EcoOffice survey. Trained volunteers will conduct an initial and follow-up environmental assessment in the offices through out the campus and write a customized report specifically designed to address simple and easy to implement ways to reduce the office’s environmental impact. Student Sustainability Coordinators (3 positions), Office of Sustainability

The Student Sustainability Coordinators are part of the Office of Sustainability and support the work program of the Sustainability at Bellevue College initiative.  The Student Sustainability Coordinator positions for 2012-2013 are:

• Resource Accounting Coordinator
• Transportation Coordinator
• Communications and Peer Education Coordinator

Part Time: 15-19 hours per week
Salary: $12/hr.
Term of Employment: July 2012 to June 2013

Program Coordinator, Office of Sustainability

The Program Assistant will assume day-to-day coordination of the Office of Sustainability and administration and review of the communications and committees. They will provide project assistance across the scope of Sustainability at Bellevue College, in support to the Director and Curriculum Manager, and provide direction to Student Coordinators.

Part Time: 19 hours per week
Salary: $14/hr.
Term of Employment: July 2012 to June 2013
