Transportation Project Updates
Bellevue College formed a Transportation Management Task Force (TMTF) formed in 2010 and recommended a series of initiatives that are now being implemented, including: managing demand for parking through permit fees, piloting an innovative bus pass assistance program, promoting ridematching online, offering incentives for alternative commuting, creating new bicycle facilities and providing hourly car rental on campus. Students commuted 12% fewer days by driving alone in Fall 2012 than they did in 2009, with more students traveling by bus.

Employees commuted fewer days by driving alone as well as reported in 2012, with just 62% of commuting days by car alone, compared to 74% in 2009.
