As you prepare for the quarter –you know, finding you classes, buying your books–we want you to think about one important aspect of school: how you get here! To help you find alternatives to driving alone, we introduced BCRideMatch!
BC RideMatch is a fun and easy way to find fellow students, faculty and staff and others that live nearby so you can share your ride. Its also our reward program where you calendar your bus, bike, walk and carpool trips for great prizes.
It’s easy: log in with your BC email, create an account, and enter your commuting information and run a match. Presto! BCRideMatch will introduce you to others going your way. Follow the step by step instructions here.

What is BCRideMatch? BCRideMatch is a network for carpooling that makes it easy to connect with more than 10,000 members of the BC community and others commuting to campus to find people making trips that fit with your unique schedule. You can carpool daily, weekly, or whenever is convenient for you.
Why use BCRideMatch? In addition to saving money by splitting the cost of gas with your ride matches, carpooling enables you to save time by using the HOV lanes instead of sitting alone in traffic. Plus you get to meet new folks from Bellevue College, fellow Bulldogs and future friends! We’ll be offering more than $21,000 in rewards through BC RideMatch this year!

Commencement this year has been moved to the Key Arena to accommodate more of our friends and family. In order to accommodate parking, we have established a BC Ride Match event for students, faculty and staff. Simply login or create an account with your BC email address and search for employees to share the ride. Click the “Events” tab and find Bellevue College Commencement. Save on parking and gas, and earn a $25 bonus reward if you’re a new registrant or if you’re a returning user and you update your calendar and RideMatch community schedule (while supplies last before June 30th 2013). BC RideMatch Bonus BUCK$$$ – Update / Calendar a TripExisting users that update their trip information (days, and times) and calendar at least one trip after 4/30 will receive a $25 cash card. Offer is good while supplies last through June 30th 2013. Login to BC RideMatch and under the Ridematch tab select trips and update your commute location/ time/ days. Parking Permit Buyback – $65
Create a new carpool in BC RideMatch and we will buyback one of your already purchased parking permits! Forward your carpool match confirmation email to transportation@bellevuecollege.edu or print and bring to Zack Boucher in C106 along with both of your full names and student ID numbers; also bring the parking permit that we will be buying back (for Spring). Spring into action!
The first 30 students to create a new account with BC RideMatch will receive a $25 cash card! To be eligible students must use their BC email address, create a trip and search for matches. Time is running out so Spring into action and win that money!
Rewards for February 2013:
I like your chances!
Save money by carpooling, bussing, biking, walking and be entered to win 1 of 20 $25 cash cards! Starting February 1st -28th all you need to do to be eligible is log 8 round trips in your BC RIDEMATCH calendar by either carpooling, bussing, biking or walking. Rewards for December 2012:
Park Free with BC RideMatch
Use BC RideMatch and save big on parking. Five winners will be chosen each full week in December for a Winter Everyday Student Parking Permit (or $25 cash card for employee winners). There are two ways to enter; once you’ve entered you will continue to be eligible each week.
1) Login or Sign-up for an account using your Bellevue College email and Create a Trip or Refresh the days/times of your existing trip by December 31st. Users with active RideMatch trips will be eligible. One permit given away each week!
2) Run a “RideMatch” to share the ride. For a successful match send the email confirming your match with Student ID numbers to transportation@bellevuecollege.edu by December 31st. Must not have won a parking permit in a previous quarter. Four permits given away each week!
Winners will be notified by the email address in BC RideMatch within four days of the end of the week and rewards must be claimed by email within two weeks. No longer valid if you purchase a permit.

Share the ride/drive to Bellevue College to save time and money, and connect to the Bellevue College community. If you carpool 6 days to campus and record your trips you will be eligible for 6 chances to win a $50 gas card in November. Use the calendar in BC RideMatch to record how you got to campus; mark eight days and you are eligible to win! Offer valid in during November 2012. Find a match in BC RideMatch and park free Fall Quarter! Sign-up, run a trip-match, and contact your match to form a carpool by September 30th. Eligible for students who have not yet purchased a Fall quarter parking permit. Bring your carpool buddy and a copy of the email that created your match to C106 starting September 10th 9am to 3pm to earn a free everyday parking permit.
