Hola, Bellevue College!

My name is Megan Minh Phan BC’s Associated Student Government’s Environmental and Social Responsibility Representative from 2011-2012 with the main focus of environmental equity and social justice.
Being born and raised in a humble Vietnamese family, I was taught the value of pure happiness through living a simple life without unnecessary materialism. To me, nature is as simple as it gets.

My goal is to connect students with nature through personal experience, spiritual growth, and education and to infuse that passion within them by understanding them individually and their culture. In order to do so, these are the different goals I will be focusing on from 2011-2012.

Goals:

  • Paper reduction
  • Student Garden
  • Transportation
  • Compost Project
  • Revamp and Recruitment of sustainability innitiatives

If you have any questions, please feel free to ask or read my FAQ here
