Activities Open to the Public
The general public is encouraged to stop by the fair from 1-3pm on Saturday, March 9 to view student projects, vote for the People’s Choice Award, and take part in some fun hands-on science and engineering activities! Past activities have included:
- Physics Fun with the The Sum of All Forces (BC’s physics Club)
- Boat Building with the Bellevue College Engineering Club
- Chemistry Power! with the Bellevue College Chemistry Club
- Sunspot Viewing (weather dependent) with the Earth and Space Sciences Club
- Bugs! with Jason Fuller’s Biology 211 students
Running Start Orientation
Parents and Teachers of participants are encouraged to attend a Bellevue College Running Start information session while their students are occupied with CSRSEF judging activities. The Running Start Program allows academically qualified 11th- and 12th-graders the opportunity to enroll in certain Washington colleges for college credit. The added bonus is the cost savings, as students receive both high school and college credit for these classes, thus accelerating their progress through the education system. Explore for yourself what makes our college such a diverse, vibrant campus community! No registration is required.
