Search Consultants:

As noted in our earlier memo, we have selected the Association of Community College Trustees (ACCT) to assist us with the presidential search process.  ACCT has conducted over 400 community college searches and brings a wealth of information to our process.  ACCT’s mission is to strengthen community college governance through education, advocacy and service. Dr. Narcisa Polonio, Vice President for Research, Education and Board Leadership Services will coordinate the presidential search and Julie Golder Alion, J.D. will serve as our lead search consultant.

ACCT has recommended a timeline that should help us identify our next president by December 2012. The College community will have an opportunity to meet and hear from all final candidates in open public forums which are tentatively scheduled to occur the week of October 22, 2012.

The target date for receipt of applications is Monday, August 27, 2012. This is a target date and we will continue to receive applications until we identify the right candidate for Bellevue College.
