The Board of Trustees met yesterday and today with Narcisa Polonio from the Association of Community College Trustees to discuss the presidential search process. We are awaiting a detailed recommendation from ACCT about the search timeline which we will share with you as soon as it arrives. We remain committed to finding the best possible president for Bellevue, guided by the value of open transparent communication and process, commitment to fairness and equity and preserving confidentiality where necessary. Along with my fellow trustee Vicki Orrico we will co-chair the search committee, and we will continue to use our presidential search web site to keep you informed. Ads have been sent out oabout the position and we are now in the active recruiting process.
