The Summer Enrichment Program allows students who are at least age 16 and under age 18 and who meet the admissions criteria to enrich their high school education by taking more challenging college level classes.
Summer Enrichment students pay regular college tuition.
Students who are 18 years old are considered regular students regardless of high school grade level, and do not need to apply to BC through Summer Enrichment.
Are You Eligible?
- You will be 16 years old before the quarter begins.You are not eligible to be a Summer Enrichment student until you are 16.
- You submit a High School Summer Enrichment Admissions Application.This should be signed by a parent and high school official.
- You place into English 092 or higher through the COMPASS assessment. (This is considered high school level English)
- You attend a mandatory orientation with a parent. This addresses the differences between high school and college and highlights potential challenges for students.
