The Puget Sound Business Journal this week published a list of the largest community and technical colleges in Washington state by number of students. Bellevue College is again at the top of the list, with Clark College in Vancouver, Wash., coming in second, followed by Edmonds Community College, Green River Community College in Auburn and Highline Community College in Des Moines. Here’s a slideshow listing the top 5, as the full list requires a subscription to view:

The ranking lists Bellevue College as having enrolled 19,245 students last year. While that figure is quite large, it only refers to state-assisted enrollments. In reality, BC touches the lives of many more students who aren’t counted in that figure. This includes students who take classes in our Continuing Education courses, and the many students in our Workforce Education and Worker Retraining Programs, Adult Basic Education classes, and several high school programs, including Running Start. When taken together, Bellevue College serves over 38,000 students each year!
