BCF Board Member Shiv Batra
On Friday, June 15th Bellevue College awarded nearly 2,600 degrees to new graduates. Over 3,000 friends, family and instructors crowded into the gym to celebrate this important milestone for so many.
Other speakers included Interim President Laura Saunders, international student Anh Nguyen, and retiring faculty member Pauline Christiansen, an English faculty member who joined Bellevue College in 1967.
The majority of graduates earned their Associate’s degree and 66 received their Bachelor’s degree. Other graduates have earned associate degrees or certificates from programs designed to help them enter the workforce in areas such as health science, business, early childhood education and information technology, among others.
Congratulations to the BC Class of 2012!
