tion is honored to present Ronan Farrow as the 2012 Become Exceptional Luncheon speaker on Wednesday, April 25, 2012.
Ronan is the son of actress Mia Farrow and film director Woody Allen. A child prodigy, he started at Bard College at the age of 11 and graduated from Yale Law School at 21. He has served as a UNICEF Spokesperson for Youth in Nigeria, Angola and Sudan. Ronan has also been a public advocate for the protection of Darfur refugees.
Ronan Farrow currently serves as a Special Adviser to the Secretary of State for Global Youth Issues and to the Director of the State Department’s Global Youth Issues office. The main goal of the organization is to not only empower the world’s youth as positive economic and political actors but also to work with governments to encourage interaction and collaboration on public policy and diplomacy.

2008 – Received Refugees International’s McCall-Pierpaoli Humanitarian Award
2009 – Named by New York Magazine as their “New Activist” of the year
2010 – Named by Harper’s Bazaar as their “up-and-coming politician” of the year
2011 – Named an American Rhodes Scholar-elect
