Counseling Services
Counseling services are provided by Faculty Counselors who provide short-term personal, career, and academic counseling to registered students at Bellevue College. We also provide informational sessions to prospective students who want to know more about educational opportunities at Bellevue College.
Classes & Workshops
Human Development classes are variable credit courses that serve as elective credits for the Arts and Sciences transfer degree. HD classes are offered in various formats such as online, hybrid, weekend, weekly, and late start. HD courses focus on topics that pertain to personal growth and life skills, as well as strategies for college success.
How do I make an appointment to see a counselor?
Faculty Counselors can be reached through the Advising and Counseling Front Desk at (425) 564-2212. You may either call us or stop by the front desk in person on the 2nd floor of the Student Services building (B-Building) to make an appointment. Students who have urgent needs and cannot wait for the next available appointment may use our drop-in hours for urgent response. These hours are are available at selected hours (see below). If you email a counselor please email only one counselor. Please allow 24-48 hours for a response from an individual counselor if you send an email during regular business hours (Mon-Fri 8am-5pm).
Hours of Operation
Monday through Friday 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. for appointments.
Urgent Hours
If you have a situation where you are unable to wait for your next available appointment, drop in hours are also available on Mondays and Wednesdays at 1-4 p.m. and Tuesdays, Thursdays and Fridays 1-3 p.m. During these hours, you may be seen on a drop-in basis for immediate assistance from a counselor.
