This is required of all incoming students. The session will be approximately 1 hour so please plan your schedule accordingly. You must be at the entire session in order to be considered for enrollment.

Are you Ready for A Change?

Are you 16-20 years old and not currently enrolled in high school and want to get a degree or certificate? Are you motivated and ready for a change? If so, CEO may be the right program for you! The Career Education Options program is designed for students aged 16-20, without a high school diploma, to receive education and job skills at BC. This program provides students with a second chance at their education, and will provide tools to succeed in the college environment. The CEO program also provides the essential resources in order to succeed in a college environment including tuition, money for books, a dedicated staff that will help you reach your academic and career goals.

CEO instructors are dedicated to helping you achieve success both in and out of the classroom. All CEO classes will focus on the tools that are needed for college success. For example, during CEO 1 you will learn the following:

Career exploration and planning
Resources available on the BC campus
Test taking skills and time management
Life skills
Critical thinking and decision making
Community involvement and civic responsibility
Career skills, resume building, and interviewing tips
Fundamental computer skills
Effective communication skills

We are committed to helping our students find that potential that will reconnect them to their individual path of success in education and career.

The CEO staff will help you choose your classes and refer you to the many resources that BC has to offer. We promise each qualified student training in life skills, career exploration, education and training in a professional-technical program, and individual support services to promote academic and personal achievement

CEO I (your first quarter) is a 15 credit class that you must commit to for the entire quarter.
