Bellevue College’s Workforce Education (WE) Department provides high-touch academic advising, jump-start funding and connection to support and employment services to eligible dislocated workers and students who are low income. BC’s WE programs provide access to educational and career pathways, financial resources and support that increase the students’ employability and lead to high wage/high demand employment. The Workforce Education Student Success Coach has several roles:
1)Provide academic support to WE students to include staffing WE’s homework lab.
2)Coordinate weekly information sessions and determine program eligibility for potential students.
3)Manage WE’s laptop and textbook lending program.
The person in this position will work closely with all WE program staff and will be part of the WE team. This position may also work with other college departments to assist students.
