Job Summary: Ampac is looking for a Structural Engineering Intern who will be participating in many tasks involving the application of standard structural engineering techniques and procedures. In general, our engineering interns will assist with introductory engineering tasks, creating structural designs, tooling, machined parts, and various other duties as necessary.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Structural Designs: Project work includes analysis and design of structures for printing presses and pouching machinery. Structures include pre-formed, converted
bags and laminated pouches.
Tooling: Project work includes analysis and design of tooling for printing presses and pouching machinery. Tooling includes metal dies, and general machinery for
Machined Parts: Project work includes analysis and design of parts for printing presses, pouching machinery and general factory equipment.
Flexible hours around the intern’s schedule.
